Wouter Oomen

BIG registration: 19911410904

Wouter is our Master-level manual therapist, specialised in complaints of the spine: neck, back and shoulder.

Specialisations

His expertise covers shoulder complaints (instability, frozen shoulder, tendon problems), neck pain and headaches, lower back pain and hernia-related complaints, thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS) and dizziness (BPPV). He also performs ultrasound imaging of the shoulder for tendon problems and bursitis, and regularly works together with specialists of the Catharina Hospital.

Background

Wouter graduated as a physiotherapist at Fontys Eindhoven in 2009 and completed his Master in Manual Therapy in 2015. He is a member of the Dutch physiotherapy association KNGF, Chronisch ZorgNet and the shoulder network of Noord-Brabant.

Treatment approach

Wouter combines manual therapy to restore joint mobility, ultrasound imaging to make injuries visible, and EPTE therapy for stubborn tendon problems such as tennis elbow. Every plan starts with an honest analysis and ends with a clear, personal treatment plan.
